LETTING GO

A fortnightly exploration

Over the next fortnight, we're exploring Letting Go: noticing what we may be holding onto through habit, fear, expectation or the need to know what comes next. This is an invitation to soften our grip on what no longer needs to be carried, to make space for what is changing, and to discover the freedom that can emerge when we allow life to move without needing to control its direction.

Letting Go Attunement

A gentle guided attunement for releasing what no longer needs to be carried.

Letting Go invites you to soften your grip on old expectations, identities or emotional weight, and make space for what is ready to emerge. Through breath, reflection and quiet awareness, this practice supports compassionate release, greater freedom and trust in the natural movement of change.

Reflections On: Letting Go

What would happen if we were able to let go of our mind’s need for certainty? this feels like a theme for the year.

Self belief has never been a fixed thing for me. It comes and goes, like the tide.

At the moment, I’m not interested in trying to strengthen it or stabilise it.
What I feel drawn to instead is letting go of the past, not through effort or strategy; but through gentle noticing, when I remember to.

I’m watching my thoughts arrive.
I’m sitting with what surfaces.
Not analysing. Not fixing.
Simply acknowledging what’s here.

It feels like opening an old filing cabinet I’ve carried for years, drawers full of outdated paperwork, assumptions, stories that once served a purpose. I’m not in a rush to throw everything out. I’m just finally willing to look.

This year, the first four months of our shared work are shaped around the theme of Belief, in all its colours, contradictions and quiet moments. I’m meeting it slowly. Ambling. Reclining. Letting the daily challenges of life reveal what belief actually asks of me now.

For the next two weeks, my attention is resting on letting go.

It matches this wintering season I’m in; one that doesn’t demand renewal yet, only honesty and rest. A soft clearing. A gentle loosening. Trusting that a clean slate doesn’t arrive through force, but through presence.

Spring will come in its own time.
For now, this is enough.
