RELATIONSHIP
A fortnightly exploration
Over the next fortnight, we're exploring Relationship: noticing how we meet ourselves, our bodies, other people and the life unfolding around us. This is an invitation to become curious about our relationship with nature, creativity, uncertainty, inner knowing and the larger intelligence of life; and to discover what becomes possible when we stop trying to control the conversation and begin to listen more deeply.

Reflections On: Relationship
I amplify my agency by giving energy only to what is mine to live, create and contribute. And when I begin to explore agency in this way, when I stop confusing it with control, I realise I come into relationship.
It becomes about the relationship I have with the way I meet life.
Agency asked: what is mine to live, create and contribute? Where does my energy belong?
And now relationship feels like a natural progression, asking: how do I meet what I am in relationship with?
It’s funny because my fortnightly themes seem to emerge in this way, each theme revealing the question that comes next. That, in itself, feels like being in relationship with the work rather than controlling where it goes.
Framing situations through relationship brings a more intuitive and holistic focus. It invites a more human and compassionate approach, which feels so different from the restless, impatient mind, often ruled by the inner critic.
There are so many fascinating directions to reflect on within the theme of relationship: our relationship with the body, nature, creativity, uncertainty, inner knowing, symbol and synchronicity, with other people; and with life itself.
Is life something I need to control, or something I can participate in?
This theme is asking me to slow down and lean into the places I’m drawn to in my life. To be quiet and still enough to listen deeply to what wants to emerge.
I feel a sense of excitement in approaching life in this way, and a readiness to lean into patience as I follow where the questions lead.
